Pelosi = Hypocrit

pelosiqueenNewt Gingrich, a Republican, served in the House from Georgia from 1978 and as House Minority Whip in 1989.  He was Speaker of the House from 1995 to 1999.  During that time he never made use of military air craft.

Nancy Pelosi, Democrat from California, current Speaker of the House.  The Pentagon provides the House speaker with an Air Force plane large enough to accommodate her staff, family, supporters, and members of the California delegation when she travels around the country.  But, Pelosi wanted routine access to a larger plane.  It includes 42 business class seats, a fully-enclosed state room, an entertainment center, a private bed, state-of-the-art communications system, and a crew of 16.  Pelosi wanted “carte blanche for an aircraft any time,” including weekend trips home to San Francisco . Pretty nice but very expensive perk!  Her Air Force C-32 costs approximately $15,000 an hour or approximately $300,000 per trip home.

And she has the guts to confront the Big Three CEOs for flying their corporate jets to Washington !  YOU WOULD THINK SHE, ALONG WITH A HUSBAND WORTH AN ESTIMATED BILLION DOLLARS, WOULD LEASE OR BUY AND FLY THEIR OWN PLANE, OR FLY FIRST CLASS ON COMMERCIAL AIRLINES LIKE OTHER RICH PEOPLE. Turnabout is Fair Play, Unless It’s on YOU!

I was reading yet another article by the liberal media blasting Rush.  I mean, it’s not like we have important things to do, like fix the economy, save jobs and homes.  Nah, it’s more important to have a brawl with a radio personality over something insanely stupid.

I know, I know, everything bad everywhere in the world is Bush’s fault.  Right.  It constantly amazes me how much power the liberals give Bush.  I mean, if one man had the power to bring down the entire global economy, and cause  natural disasters, wouldn’t you be a little bit NICE to him?  I mean, shesh, HE HAS THE POWER.  The fact of the matter is, the DEMOCRATS controlled congress for the last two years of Bush’s presidency.  And people who understand how politics work know the power really lies in congress, so I blame Nancy Pelosi.  Why not?  She’s the loudest, most ignorant, out of touch with the American public person I have ever heard.  And we all know she wants THE POWER.

So, everyone is slamming Rush for saying he wants the president’s policies to fail.  Guess what, SO DO I.  So does anyone with any common sense.  Socialism is never the answer, it’s been tried time and time again, and every single time it has failed.  What makes Obama think he has so much power he can make it work this time?  And turnabout is fair play, the democrats very emphatically stated they wanted Bush to fail.  Why is it suddenly horrible to say that we want Obama’s policies to fail?  Because they can dish it out, but they can’t take it.  Kind of reminds me of elementary school, how about you?

In August of 2006, this exit poll was taken on election day.

Regardless of how you voted on the presidential election, would you say you want President Bush to succeed or not?

Yes No Don’t Know
08-09 Aug 06 63% 32% 5%
Democrats 40% 51% 9%
Republicans 90% 7% 2%
Independents 63% 34% 3%

51% of Democrats wanted the president to fail!  Where was the outraged media when this was released?  They were part of the 51%.

My point to this rant is that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and should make that opinion heard.  It’s not illegal (yet) to disagree with the socialist policies of this new administration.  And with 2 years until the next chance to take congress back from the irresponsible liberals, we need to get it together and start spreading the word.

Einstein once said, ‘The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.’

It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats—yet they are still ………………. POOR

“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence.  You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.”

Abraham Lincoln
