I hear a lot of people saying they are afraid of where the country is going.  That it’s not anything like it was when they grew up.  Some of that is the old in them coming out.  (I’ve also heard the phrase “It’s time to lock and load”.)

I like to read about our founding fathers and the way they wrote things – they way they spoke.  This quote keeps popping into my head:

“Through the spilled blood of our ForeFathers a representative republic was born.  only with our blood can we defend it.”
